Somewhere over a year ago, and in planning for six months before that, Richard, Jay, and I created demetech.global. This AgTech business was built to supply farmers with the best possible advice for sweating their assets (i.e. generating maximum profit from their fields).

To enable this I created a structure of Specialized Small Language Models that sit within a boolean decision-tree framework. For the demonstration the models were: Agriculture; Finance; Climate; Trading; ESG and ToDo.

I came across a new AI concept this morning called Aria. https://arxiv.org/html/2410.05993v1

The use of Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models employed by Aria validates my research and work in this area. They are using Specialized Small Language Models to reduce the overhead on the Large Model and improve response time while curbing power and cooling requirements! Good job!
